Jobs, Work and Your Tax File Number
So when it comes to applying for a job in Australia everybody is going to have a different experience as there are thousands of different jobs available, some people find it easy getting a job others struggle, it entirely depends on what kind of job you're looking for and where you’re looking. When first applying for a Job in Australia you are going to have to get your work head on and get out of holiday mode for a bit as obviously the more work you put into finding a job the better chance you have of getting one a lot quicker. The minimum wage in Australia is $17.29 or $659.90 per 38 hour week, so there is the potential to save a lot of money if you wanted to, and also a good thing to remember is whatever you're taxed you get back at the end of the financial year which is the 30th of June or when you leave the country. You will also need a tax file number when working in Australia which i have explained about in a blog below.
